High-density storage meets high-speed access. Push Back Pallet Racking combines efficient storage volume with conventional forklift operation, making it ideal for businesses storing large batches of the same SKU. Available in both structural and roll-formed frames.
Push Back Rack systems work by placing pallet loads on a series of nesting carts fed forward by gravity on rigid structural steel rails. As a pallet is loaded from the front, it pushes the pallet behind it back one position. When unloading, the front pallet is removed, and the rear pallets automatically flow forward to the picking position. This enables efficient Last-In-First-Out (LIFO) inventory management, supporting storage depth from 2 to 5 pallets deep with front-only aisle access.
This solution offers more versatility than traditional Drive-In racks, as each lane flows independently and vertical levels operate separately. Multiple pick facings for a variety of SKUs can be accessed without disturbing other products above or below in single-lane or double-lane configurations.
The structure includes uprights, beams, support rails, and nesting carts. Component specifications are customized according to actual load capacities and warehouse layouts.
Conventional accessories for heavy-weight pallet racks include: cross beams, back brake beams, back mesh, side mesh, steel plates, grid plates, wood plates, column protectors, guard bars, and more.
